European Lime Association, the leading advocacy and representative body for the Lime Industry across Europe, held its General Assembly and announced the election of its new Board Presi-dent and Board Members in Brussels, 21st of June 2023.
EuLA is proud to announce its newly elected Board President, Mr. Tim Van den Bossche (Carmeuse), Vice Presidents Mr. Cedric de Vicq (Lhoist), Dr. Burkhard Naffin (CRH – Fels) and Mr. Damien Gregoire (Carmeuse), together with the newly elected Board Members, Mr. Juan Murillo (Carmeuse), Mr. Kai Schafer (Schaefer Kalk), Mr. Jean Marbehant (Lhoist), Mr. Jon Santa Cruz (Calcinor), Mr. Lorenzo Bernardi (Fassa Bortolo), Mr. Alexander Szyszko (CRH – Trzuskawica), Mr. Paulo Correia (Lhoist), Mr. Mikael Furu (NordKalk) and Mr. Richard Stansfield (Singleton Birch). The newly elected Board President and Board Members serve a mandate duration of two years.
The European Lime Association remains at the forefront of policy discussions, regulatory frameworks, and industrial initiatives.
EuLA is expressing its deepest gratitude for unwavering commitment and exceptional results during the tenure of leaving Board President and Board Members, in particular to Dr. Andreas Kinnen and Mr. Paul Gustavsson. In the end, EuLA leaving Board President Dr. Burkhard Naffin closed the meeting: “Leading the EuLA Board for the last four years has been an honour and a pleasure. We went through many situations, but EuLA and its members showed resilience and agility to continue to promote the interests of the lime sector in Europe. I am pleased to see Mr. Tim Van den Bossche becoming the new EuLA president, with him and this new board, EuLA is in good hands.”
